Given its briefness and predictability, the minimal seesaw -- a simplified version of canonical mechanism with only two right-handed neutrino fields has been studied in depth from many perspectives, now it is being pushed close to position directly facing experimental tests. This article intended provide an up-to-date review various phenomenological aspects associated leptogenesis physics cosmology. Our focus on possible flavor structures such benchmark scenarios confronting their predictions current oscillation data cosmological observations. In this connection particular attention will be paid topics lepton number violation, discrete symmetries, CP violation antimatter Universe.
